	Improv for Actors (Intermediate)The Second City’s Improv for Actors (or Intermediate level) focuses on teaching students scenic improvisation with an emphasis on connection and relationship. This class is perfect for college level improvisers or actors who want to use improvisational techniques to support their text work. This workshop teaches scenic improv through concepts such as ensemble; yes, and…; explore and heighten; relationship; give and take focus; wants and intentions; subtext; scenic structure; and given circumstances.The maximum amount of students is 15. 	Writing thru Improvisation The Second City’s Writing Workshop focuses on teaching students the process of writing comedic scenes thru the use of improvisation. This class is for improv/sketch groups, or individuals with improv experience who want to be better sketch writers. This workshop teaches writing for sketch comedy through observation of character/environment; translating ideas into a comic premise; planning scenes; improvising from a premise, scenic structure, and reimprovising.
